Acne Scars
Acne can potentially leave a permanent scar on the skin if it is taken lightly
Acne is the biggest problem for teens and they try their very best to get off that. It just not only marking blackheads and soreness on your skin but also it leaves a trace on a person face to wake him up to care for his face. Sometimes it goes severe due to lack of care and recklessness which lead to ‘black’ effects. Scars are one among that. Acne leaves a scar on your face on the part where the lumps were on.
Acne scars are not to be taken nonchalantly. These are difficult to care and very pricey too. Despite the fact of one being wealthy can afford it that which is not cent percent vouched as the scars is hard to remove completely from the face.
Scars does not mean only the physical scars but also the psychological scars which one might come across from his friends, third parties or any one which keeps them away from the peer group and social activity. So they always want to spend their time alone in home more like a new born that deprives them from their growth.
Types of acne scars
Coming to the physical acne scars, the term often used to refer to it is Icepick scars because of the fact that it has the capability or imparts pitting on the face.
Although treatments can be used to treat it to some extent but complete scar free face is quite rare and hard.
Let’s look at some of the types of scars and how they look like:
-Ice pick scars are said to be the common and well known acne scar and imparts trench like pits on the skin.
-Box car scars are the scars which usually occur on the cheeks and the fore head which is akin to the chicken pox scars.
-Rolling scars, as the name suggests us, these are the scars which depart with a wave like appearance on the skin.
-Hypertrophic scars cause a raised pinkish tissue on the injury part of the skin.
Pigmentation
Pigmentation due to the scars is misunderstood or the term gives a deceptive meaning saying that causes a change in the skin color and they are treated to be the true scars. But both of them are contemplated to be wrong. Pigmented scars occur due to the vesicle acne i.e. the large lumps which mount on the skin and they leave behind a trace with a red mark.
The pigmented scars can be avoided by mitigating the exacerbation of cyst or vesicle. It is advised not to pick up the spots or cysts as it induces the pigmentation worse and the affected area might even be bruised.
Pigmentation scars lasts for a period of maximum 2 years from minimum of 3 months and has a very least chance of continuous persistence. Hyper pigmentation is a form of scars which usually occurs in the females, leaves a brown patch on the skin because of the melanin deposition in the dermis, which also fades by time.
